The 34th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference will be held June 7-11th in Philadelphia, USA. The the mission of the Photovoltaic Specialists Conference is t to present groundbreaking research papers on all aspects of PV-relevant materials, devices, systems and applications. The Technical Program will be complemented by six tutorials to be presented on Sunday, June 7. These tutorials will be taught by experts in their fields and will be valuable to newcomers to photovoltaics, as well as to seasoned veterans who wish to learn about recent trends. The European Future Energy Forum will take place June 9th-11th, in Bilbao, Spain. Over 3,500 people from 38 countries have been registered to attend. The conference programme for the European Future Energy Forum will ask ‘What is the future of energy?’, ‘What are the alternative solutions?’ and ‘How do we facilitate the necessary change?’ The programme will consist of the same level of keynote speakers as the World Future Energy Summit, but will also provide more interactive sessions to address specific issues and encourage networking between participants. Carbon Finance North America will take place June 10th – 12th in New York city. The conference will actually start on Thursday the June 11th but there will be an “Introductionn to Emmision Trading” workshop held on Wednesday, June 10th.
