Solar Thermal.
Solar thermal energy conversion can be further divided into the 2 categories of passive and active solar heating.
Passive Solar heating systems utilize the energy from the sun ( solar incident energy) for storage or convection ( heat transfer). The heat collected can be used for cooling as well as heating or to drive generators to produce electricity.
Examples of Solar thermal products and systems that will provide green career opportunities are:
- Design , manufacturing, installation and maintenance of Solar collectors for residential or commercial applications of heating or cooling.
- Passive Solar building design and construction
- Design , manufacturing and sales of Thermal mass materials for the green building industry.
