Anaheim Receives $1.7 Million in Green Jobs Funding

The Federal Transit Administration announced the award of $1.7 million to the Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN) for cutting-edge transportation projects that create “green” jobs, promote the use of clean fuels, and help reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gases and other pollutants.

Oregon High Speed Rail System Project would Create Tens of Thousands of Green Jobs

Governor Ted Kulongoski recently announced that the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has applied for $2.1 billion in federal funding through the High Speed Intercity Passenger Rail program, an opportunity provided by the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
