Anaheim University Offers Online Green MBA in Sustainable Management
Like many other MBA programs, this Online Green MBA provides students with the ability to complete their graduate degree from anywhere in the world, through a USA based University. Named after Sony founder Akio Morita, Anaheim University’s School of Business provides students with the foundations of management through a series of 6 courses. These are combined with completing 6 courses in Sustainable Management through the University’s Kisho Kurokawa Green Institute. These latter courses are aimed at teaching students to be fiscally, socially and environmentally responsible, as they graduate and head out into the world of business.
The Management Courses cover:
- global economics;
- human resource management;
- managerial accounting;
- marketing;
- innovation and entrepreneurship;
- and managerial finance.
The Sustainability Courses cover:
- triple bottom line accountability and management;
- green marketing and environmental product design/recycling;
- corporate social responsibility and ethics;
- sustainable enterprise development and leadership;
- and two separate capstone projects in sustainable management.

The program is structured along the same lines as other online MBA programs, with each term being 6 weeks in length. The degree is typically completed in 18 months, with students completing the courses by taking one per 6-week term. This provides tremendous flexibility for students who are highly motivated, and are able to devote a significant portion of their time to completing the full MBA in Sustainable Development within one and a half years.
