The Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning is recognized internationally for the quality and integrity of its program. Each year the conference provides an exchange of current resources, research, and best practices from around the world that are relevant to the design and delivery of distance education/training.
The 26th Annual Conference to be held August 4-6, 2010 in Madison, Wisconsin. Together, we will address challenges facing practitioners and administrators and discuss effective teaching/training distance courses and programs.

ABOUT WORKSHOPSOptional three-hour workshops provide presenters an opportunity to facilitate a well-planned, interactive, and practical learning experience to develop participants’ knowledge and skills in a specific area of expertise. Suggested workshop activities:
Optional workshops require pre-registration and separate fees. ABOUT E-POSTER SESSIONSElectronic poster sessions allow researchers and graduate students to discuss their completed research studies in a small group setting. Attendees will tour several simultaneous slide-loop presentations and interact with presenters about their studies and findings. The following topics are suggested for the e-poster format:
In discussion sessions, presenters interact in an informal small group setting. After the topic has been introduced and key points have been made, the lead presenter encourages discussion among participants and guides the interchange of ideas.
