GM to Add 1,000 Electric Vehicle Engineering and Development Jobs in Michigan

Beginning today, General Motors will add 1,000 engineers and researchers in Michigan over the next two years to significantly expand its vehicle electrification expertise and lead in the development of electric vehicles from hybrids to electric vehicles with extended-range capability, like the Chevrolet Volt.

Free Green Job Training at Central Piedmont Community College

Central Piedmont Community College, with campuses in the Charlotte area of North Carolina, is offering free green training programs thanks to a grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for training in green careers. The grant covers two programs: Green Systems Technology and Green Builder Training.
